I can take this from scope to a tested handoff without bloating the first milestone. You're building Full-Stack Developer for Web Application, where the real delivery risk is usually in the workflow details, not just the feature list. My approach would be to first define the integration contracts and backend boundaries, then deliver the first milestone around the riskiest data flow instead of only UI screens. Quick question: Which external integrations are absolutely required for MVP, and which can be staged after launch? Also, what is already available for Full-Stack Developer for Web Application: a working codebase, designs, data, or only the brief? Best, Dr. Syafiq

Hi, I am Adeel. I built Boostifai, a multi tenant SaaS with a React and TypeScript frontend and a Python backend, so working across both layers of an existing app is exactly my normal setup. For a takeover like this I would start by reading the codebase and clearing a few outstanding bugs, so you can see how I work before committing to anything ongoing. I can offer the first fix free, around two hours, as a way to prove fit before you commit budget. I can put in 30 to 40 hours a week and start right away. What does the current codebase use for its database, SQL or NoSQL?

hello, Joining an existing app, the discipline that matters most is understanding the codebase before changing it, since a live application has established patterns, and code that ignores them creates friction and review cycles. So I'd start with the review you've scoped as the first task, working with the existing structure's grain, which is exactly what lets me resolve the outstanding issues cleanly and recommend improvements that fit rather than fight the architecture. On the fixes, I'd trace each bug to its actual cause rather than patch where it surfaces, since that's what stops it reappearing, and I'd write the tests alongside so you can merge confidently. Since it's ongoing with clear communication expected, I'd work in tight, well-reasoned PRs that review fast. Is the stack Python or Node on the backend, since that shapes where I'd focus first? And what's the most pressing outstanding issue, since knowing what's actually blocking you tells me where to start delivering value. have a nice day.

Hi, I’m a full-stack developer interested in working with you on an ongoing basis. I can contribute across both backend and frontend development, with a focus on clean implementation, reliable APIs, maintainable code, and practical solutions to production issues. For your initial phase, I can start by reviewing the existing codebase, understanding the current architecture, identifying outstanding issues, and then working through the highest-priority backend and frontend improvements. My relevant technical experience includes: Backend: Python and Node.js, REST API development and third-party integrations. Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript with modern component-based frameworks such as React/Next.js. Databases: SQL and NoSQL database integration and data modelling. Development: Git-based workflows, debugging, refactoring and maintainable code. Production: Deployment, troubleshooting and resolving application-level issues. I’m comfortable working independently, communicating progress clearly, and taking ownership of assigned tasks rather than requiring constant supervision. I’m also open to a longer-term arrangement if the initial work is a good fit. I’d be happy to begin with the codebase review and a small set of initial tasks so you can evaluate the quality of my work before assigning larger features Best regards Raheel

Hey, sounds like you need someone reliable to jump into an existing codebase, clean up bugs, and steadily ship new features on both ends. I do most of my daily work with Python and TypeScript, handling React frontends and API endpoints without overcomplicating things. Juggling both sides of a project without breaking production is pretty much my bread and butter. How many hours a week are you hoping to kick things off with?

Hello, The main risk for a part-time engagement on an existing web application is regressions and unclear ownership during incremental changes; I focus on small, reversible changes and clear CI checks to keep production stable while adding features. I have 10+ years delivering production web apps across backend services and single-page frontends. I routinely maintain live systems, triage incidents, and implement API and UI improvements with clear git workflows and code review. Recent work included hardening API auth, optimizing DB queries, and shipping frontend feature flags. I prefer to start by running the test suite and a local build of the app, then create a small branch with a safe improvement or bugfix to prove the deployment path and communication cadence. After that I incrementally take on larger tickets with short, documented PRs and automated tests where appropriate. - Would you like me to run an initial audit of the repo and CI to estimate onboarding time? - Which parts of the stack currently need the most attention: backend APIs, frontend features, deployment, or observability? Looking forward to hearing from you, Matthew Reese

Hi, there. You need a reliable full-stack developer who can step into an existing application, understand the current architecture quickly, fix outstanding issues, and continuously deliver backend and frontend improvements without creating maintenance problems later. I’m experienced across Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, databases, and production web applications, with senior engineering experience behind me. Rather than relying on words, I can build a working demo to demonstrate the approach, functionality, and quality firsthand shortly. Relevant work includes SaaS platforms, eCommerce applications, API integrations, and backend systems where I handled both application logic and web functionality. You can see representative projects on my Freelancer profile. The demo would give you a practical view of how I approach existing code, API integration, frontend changes, testing, and maintainable implementation before moving into ongoing work. Would you like me to build a working demo for you? I hope we discuss more about the project in chat. Thanks, Fernando Garcia

Hi, I'd build this in Flutter for a single codebase across passenger and driver apps, with a Node.js backend and PostgreSQL for ride, driver, and payment data. For maps and real-time GPS tracking I'd use Google Maps Platform (Directions, Distance Matrix, real-time location updates via websockets), Stripe for card payments plus mobile wallet support, and Twilio for both SMS and email delivery, reliable and simple to integrate for OTP verification and ride notifications. Core modules would cover user/driver registration and login, vehicle listings, ride scheduling and live tracking for both sides, in-app payments, driver ratings/reviews, and an admin panel to oversee users, drivers, rides, and payments centrally. Milestones I'd propose: auth and user/driver onboarding first, then ride booking/matching and live GPS tracking, then payments integration, then ratings/reviews and admin panel, then testing and polish before launch. I'd like to see the wireframes, branding, and database schema once ready so I can lock in an accurate price and timeline rather than a rough estimate now, given ride-hailing apps vary a lot in matching-algorithm complexity. Happy to share relevant ride-hailing/logistics work once we connect.

Hey, For an existing application, the first task is not simply adding features but understanding where the current frontend, API, database, and production behavior meet. When bugs and new functionality are handled independently, small changes can easily introduce regressions elsewhere, so the initial codebase review should establish those boundaries before ongoing development expands them. I’d keep the initial work focused on the existing issues and requested improvements, using the current architecture rather than introducing unnecessary restructuring. From there, backend and frontend changes can remain aligned through the existing API contracts, with deployment work handled only where the requested changes require it. How is the current application structured between the frontend, backend, and database, and which area has the highest priority for the initial tasks?
