I want a standalone workbench that drops straight into RimWorld, acts exactly like any vanilla station, and leaves me plenty of room to bolt on extra recipes pulled from Steam Workshop later. The job centres on clean XML-and-C# definitions, a tidy ThingClass, and whatever additional comps are required so the bench shows up correctly in the build menu, respects power and research gating, and plays nicely with other mods that may patch the same systems. I will supply the list of Workshop mods it must coexist with once we start; the code should be written in a way that future XML patches (or Harmony if necessary) can be slipped in without rewriting the core. If custom art or sound is needed I can provide reference images, but feel free to ship placeholder textures in the correct resolution so I can swap them out later. Deliverables • Completed mod folder ready to be dropped into RimWorld’s Mods directory • Source files (XML, C#, textures) with clear comments • Brief README explaining how to add new recipes or tweak stats Acceptance is simple: enable the mod on a clean 1.4 install, research the required project, build the bench, and craft a test item without errors or conflicts in the log.
