A fantasy RPG with five main classes and two dozen (or so) sub/mixed classes between. It will also need to have character leveling and basic AI programing. The game will be split into "dungeons" with 7-8 levels between them, each 'dungeon' will make up part of a larger area in game. At this time there are 25+ enemies for the dungeons, and 3 pets(at this time).
As far as the strategy game elements go... It will be compromised of a single map area that will have several different "regions" for various "buildings"; both 'buildings' and 'regions' can be upgraded or 'changed'.There will be several prebuilt maps that the "Player" will be able to add upon (or edit). It will entail resource management, and "random" events will occur that could cause various 'buildings' to upgrade, vanish, or 'change'. The strategy part of the game should also be mostly optional, with settings for auto-run that could be turned on and off; it will also need settings for easy-insane difficulty which will be set at the beginning of the game an preferably unchangeable.
I am a writer, a fiction/fantasy writer. I've started taking some local and online classes for game programing but it is not my strongest skill. My main goal is to adapt my writing into a video game in order to explore the depth of my skills in world building.
