Hi everyone, I’m running a Shopify store and currently experiencing data discrepancies between Shopify, Google Ads, and Facebook (Meta) Ads reporting. Here’s the issue in detail: 1) Conversion Count Mismatch The number of purchases reported in Google Ads does not exactly match the number of orders shown in Shopify for the same date range. While the difference is not extremely large, it is consistent enough to raise concerns about tracking accuracy. 2) Revenue Discrepancy (Major Concern) The reported revenue in Google Ads and Facebook Ads does not match the total sales revenue in Shopify. In fact, ad platforms are reporting significantly higher purchase values compared to Shopify’s actual order revenue. The revenue mismatch is noticeably larger than the conversion count difference, which makes ROAS calculations unreliable. 3) Business Impact ROAS metrics cannot be trusted. Scaling decisions are difficult because reported revenue does not reflect actual store performance. It’s challenging to determine which platform is truly driving profitable sales.
