Job Description:
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Webmaster to update and maintain our two websites, [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] The Webmaster will be responsible for ensuring the websites are up-to-date, functioning properly, and performing optimally. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to ensure the websites meet business objectives and effectively communicate our brand message to our target audience.
Salary: $100/month + additional results-based compensation
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly update the content and images on both websites, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Perform regular checks and updates to ensure the websites are functioning properly, including testing forms, links, and other features.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console, and make recommendations for improvements based on data.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the websites align with the overall marketing strategy and effectively communicate our brand message.
• Work with third-party vendors and contractors as needed to support website maintenance and development.
• Ensure the websites comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and accessibility guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of website security and protect against unauthorized access or hacking attempts.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the websites are optimized for performance and user experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma or technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in website development, maintenance, and management, with a proven track record of success.
• Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress.
• Experience with website analytics and optimization tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to implement optimizations to improve website visibility and performance.
• Familiarity with website security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
• Knowledge of website accessibility guidelines and experience ensuring websites meet accessibility requirements.
