I have a folder of roughly 50–60 receipts—some photos, some PDFs—that now need tidy, accountant-ready records. Each file must be renamed to the pattern YYMMDD – VendorName-ExpenseType, then the key details captured in my spreadsheet: date, description, category, original amount and currency, AUD equivalent, and the matching file name as the receipt reference. You may work in Excel or Google Sheets as long as the final sheet is clean, formula-free, and immediately usable by my accountant. Accuracy in dates and currency conversion is critical; totals in AUD must balance against the originals. Deliverables • All receipts renamed exactly to the convention above • Completed spreadsheet with every column filled and cross-checked If you have done similar bookkeeping or data-entry jobs before, a brief sample or two will help me decide quickly.
