UPDATED REQUIREMENTS — Fragrance Catalog Verification and Supplier Price/Inventory Automation Our Google Sheets master contains approximately 27,000 rows with fragrance titles, sizes, descriptions, UPCs and supplier SKUs. The following two systems carry equal weight. 1. REPEATABLE CATALOG VERIFICATION Use eCosmetics as the primary reference source for verifying and correcting UPCs, product titles and sizes. Our supplier files contain errors, so copying supplier data alone is not verification. Explain how you will obtain and refresh eCosmetics reference information programmatically, including coverage, access limitations and any costs. If an exact product/variant cannot be verified on eCosmetics, flag it for review rather than guessing or silently substituting another source. Match brand, fragrance, size (including ounce/milliliter conversions), concentration (EDT, EDP, parfum), gender where applicable, and packaging/condition: tester, retail boxed, unboxed, refill, miniature or gift set. Identify different products or variants incorrectly sharing a UPC. Small size differences such as 3.3 versus 3.4 oz must be flagged and handled under documented rules approved by us, not automatically treated as correct or incorrect. Confirmed corrections should update the master sheet directly. Keep a change log with row/product identifier, old value, new value, evidence URL/source, date and reason. Put ambiguous matches in a review queue without overwriting existing data. Preserve UPC leading zeros, existing formatting, formulas and unrelated columns. Provide backup and rollback. Distinguish verified, unresolved and no-source-coverage records. A valid UPC check digit alone is not product verification. The core comparison must run programmatically over the entire catalog and be repeatable; manual spot checks are supplementary. 2. SUPPLIER SKU, INVENTORY AND PRICE AUTOMATION Confirm and populate the matching supplier SKU columns for these three suppliers: - FRX (FragranceX): API available; use its API for scheduled SKU, price and inventory refreshes. - TPS (TPS Wholesale): API available; use its API for scheduled SKU, price and inventory refreshes. Its portal documents batch SKU lookups and a paginated inventory feed, with 1,000 requests per 24 hours and up to 250 products per inventory page. - NBP (Name Brand Perfumes): downloadable catalog only, not an API. Import its CSV with SKU, UPC, title, price and quantity. Downloads require login and sessions expire quickly; propose a dependable refresh method and disclose any manual step. Keep supplier pricing and inventory separate from verified product identity and supplier mappings so daily feeds do not overwrite corrected master data. For each master item or incoming order, show each supplier's exact SKU, available stock, purchase price, shipping/dropship fees and other applicable charges, lowest landed cost among available suppliers, and last successful refresh/stale-data warning. Account for order-level shipping rules. Do not claim lowest landed cost when required shipping or fee information is missing. DELIVERABLES - Repeatable full-catalog UPC/title/size verification using eCosmetics as the primary reference. - Confirmed corrections, evidence/change log and unresolved-item queue. - Verified FRX, NBP and TPS SKU mappings in the existing sheet format. - Scheduled supplier inventory and pricing refreshes and a searchable Google Sheets comparison view. - Secure credential handling, error reporting, failed-refresh recovery, backup and rollback. - Source code, configuration, documentation and handoff so we can run or schedule the processes independently. - Clear disclosure of recurring costs and third-party dependencies. YOUR PROPOSAL MUST INCLUDE - Prior fragrance catalog experience with relevant examples. Fragrance experience is required. - Your approach to eCosmetics reference access, coverage and matching, including how you find the correct replacement UPC when the existing UPC identifies another product. - Safeguards against incorrect overwrites and handling of uncertain variants. - Proposed technology stack (Python, Apps Script or other), why it suits this volume, and NBP's login-dependent download approach. - Estimated full-rollout timeline, milestone pricing, total estimated cost and ongoing operating costs. FIRST MILESTONE: 100–200-RECORD PILOT Demonstrate the process on selected records including known errors, testers, gift sets, size differences and missing supplier SKUs. Report confirmed matches, proposed corrections, unresolved cases, evidence, processing time and estimated full-catalog cost. Full rollout depends on the accuracy of the pilot. Please revise existing proposals to address these updated requirements. Approaches relying only on fuzzy title matching or generic barcode validation are insufficient.

Hello, With 27,000 fragrance records, accuracy matters more than simply processing rows. Our team can build a repeatable verification workflow using eCosmetics as the primary source for UPC, title and size, while matching brand, fragrance, concentration, size and packaging before making changes. Ambiguous variants will be flagged for review with evidence and a clear change log, preserving the original data for rollback. FRX and TPS APIs can be integrated separately from the product verification workflow, while NBP can use its downloadable CSV process. The 100 to 200 record pilot will establish matching rules, edge cases and processing time before scaling. Rate: $5/hr | Initial: 50 hrs | Pilot: 1 week Milestone Breakdown Pilot: 15 hrs | $75 100 to 200 records, verification rules and review queue. Verification Engine: 20 hrs | $100 eCosmetics checks, updates, evidence and change log. Supplier Automation: 10 hrs | $50 FRX/TPS APIs and NBP CSV workflow. Sheets & Handover: 5 hrs | $25 Comparison view, reporting and documentation. Initial Total: 50 hrs | $250

Hi, I've built product data automation before, including an AI tool that pulls Amazon listing data, analyzes it, and publishes back through their API. Descripio: https://... (Amazon listing optimization SaaS) On the audit, the honest risk is UPC data quality. Public GTIN lookups vary in coverage for fragrance, so I'd run every row against a paid GTIN/UPC database (GS1-backed) plus a fragrance retailer source, then only overwrite when two sources agree, logging every change with the source that triggered it. That avoids silently replacing good data with a bad match. I'd build both in Python with Google Sheets API, so it runs on a schedule and stays vendor neutral for the supplier feeds. Quick question: are your three to four suppliers able to give API access, or only CSV files? Adil

Your 23,000 fragrance rows need the UPCs, titles and sizes checked against product data and bad entries fixed in place with a log. I have 8+ years of experience in web development and have delivered hundreds of projects using Python and the Google Sheets API. I verify UPCs against GS1 records and paid barcode databases and log every correction. A scheduled Python job pulls each supplier feed, CSV or API, and flags the lowest landed cost. I am fully confident I can deliver this for you, and I will give my 100% until it works exactly the way you want. Unlimited revisions until you are satisfied. I can start right away.

From what I've understood, you need a repeatable system that can audit 23,000 fragrance SKUs for UPC, title and size accuracy, log every correction, and then automate stock/price updates from 3–4 suppliers. I’d use Python + Google Sheets API for the core processing, with a layered validation approach so uncertain matches are flagged rather than overwritten blindly. Supplier CSV/API feeds can then be normalized into one structure and used to surface stock and lowest landed cost. The workflow would include: • Automated UPC/title/size validation • Before/after change log with source and reason • Multi-supplier inventory and pricing sync • Lowest-cost/availability view • Scheduling and clear handover documentation One important question: do you already have preferred fragrance data sources and supplier feeds, or should I help determine the most reliable options? I can start by reviewing a sample of the 23k-row sheet and defining the validation rules. Best Regards, Sagar

Hi, I can help clean and automate your 23,000-row fragrance sheet end to end. I’ve worked with product data audits before, and I understand fragrance SKUs, sizes, and UPC mismatches can be messy. My approach would be: programmatic UPC/title/size validation against reliable sources, then write corrections back to Sheets with a full change log. For supplier updates, I’d set up a scalable feed using Python + Google Sheets API, with CSV or API ingestion depending on each supplier’s setup, and surface best price/stock clearly. I can also document everything for easy handoff. Regards, Parvesh M.

I’d build this as a Google Sheets-first system with Python doing the heavy lifting. For UPC verification, I’d validate GTIN structure and check digits via GS1 rules, then cross-check title, brand, size and concentration against commercial product APIs such as UPCitemdb, Barcode Lookup, EAN-Search or Go-UPC, using retailer and supplier catalogs as secondary confirmation. Fragrance-specific normalization matters here: EDT vs EDP vs Parfum, 1 oz vs 30 ml, tester/refill/gift set, flanker names, reformulations, and duplicate or reused UPCs. High-confidence matches overwrite the sheet automatically; low-confidence rows get flagged in the change log with old value, new value, source, reason and timestamp. For supplier automation, I’d prefer APIs where available, then scheduled CSV drops, and scraping only as a fallback. A Python service plus Google Apps Script can ingest feeds into hidden raw tabs, map them to the master by UPC/GTIN plus brand and size, refresh stock and price, calculate landed cost where shipping data exists, and highlight the lowest-cost in-stock supplier. Google Sheets remains the dashboard, with triggers for repeatable refresh.

Hi there I have done this kind of SKU cleanup and supplier sync work in Google Sheets and AppSheet, so your 23k fragrance list is a solid fit for me. On the Mainland Aquarium inventory AppSheet project I matched products, fixed bad records, and kept stock updates flowing from messy source data. For the UPC audit I would run Python against your sheet using lookup APIs like Barcode Lookup and UPCitemdb, plus retailer checks when needed. Every row gets UPC, title, and size verified. Bad data gets corrected in the sheet and logged on a separate tab with old value, new value, and reason. You can re-run all 23k rows anytime. For supplier feeds I would confirm each vendor format first (CSV drop, email file, or API). A scheduled job pulls stock and pricing, normalizes by UPC or SKU key, then highlights who has inventory and the best landed cost per item. Apps Script handles triggers and sheet UI. Python does the heavy parsing. I know fragrance SKUs are tricky with sizes, concentrations, and flanker names, so matching logic needs to account for that not just raw barcode hits. Timeline: audit plus logging in about 5 days, supplier automation in 3 to 5 days once feeds are clear. Full handoff with docs so you can schedule both. I’ve helped fragrance clients merge large SKU data with verified UPCs and supplier feeds, tackling issues like variant mismatches, testers, and packaging differences similar to yours. My plan starts with a programmatic eCosmetics scraper/API approach to pull detailed product info, focusing on exact matches by brand, fragrance, size (with ounce-to-ml conversions), concentration, and packaging. Where an exact match is missing or small size differences occur, I’ll flag these for review—not overwrite. I log every change with source URLs, timestamps, and reasons, preserving your sheet’s formulas and formatting. Backup and rollback are built in. For suppliers, I’ll integrate FRX and TPS APIs on a schedule, respecting TPS’s rate limits, while handling NBP’s login-secured CSVs via a reliable automated session refresh or cookie management process that limits manual steps. Separate tabs’ll keep pricing and inventory away from verified master SKUs, to avoid accidental overwrites. Python with Google Sheets API suits the catalog size and complexity; its strong data libraries ease parsing, logging, and API workflows. First, I’ll deliver a 100–200 record pilot covering diverse cases: testers, gift sets, size nuances, missing SKUs. That will confirm match accuracy, processing time, and clarify ongoing costs. How are partial matches or conflicting sources currently documented or handled on your end? Also, for NBP, do you have set credentials I can test against, or should I include credential management setup in the pilot? Ready to start refining and automating your catalog verification and supplier sync now.

Hello, Leveraging my 16 years of programming experience, I'm confident in my ability to audit, automate, and ultimately improve your fragrance SKU management. Though I haven't specifically worked with fragrances before, adaptability is a defining quality of a proficient developer. My expertise remains constant regardless of the subject matter - this project isn't about fragrances, it's about data management and automation, areas I excel in. To tackle the initial hurdle you've mentioned, I propose using scripts written in Python to leverage APIs from reliable public or commercial data sources for UPC verification. This will both save significant time compared to manual checks and provide a more comprehensive comparison framework. Next comes the automation layer. My wide range of technical skills allows me to easily adapt between different tech stacks. Concerning fetching up-to-date SKUs, stock levels, and pricing from various suppliers, using either CSV drops or API calls can be a smart approach as both ensure real-time updating. We can assess the pros and cons of each option together to establish what aligns best with your current infrastructure and future scalability needs. Given the massive dataset at hand, efficient and scalable solutions are paramount - areas where my track record speaks for itself. Whether you prefer an end-to-end solution developed by me or comprehensive documentation detailing how to run or schedule both pr Thanks!

I've built UPC validation systems for retail clients before, so this is right in my wheelhouse. I'll use Google Apps Script for the audit, cross-checking UPCs against the UPCitemdb API and GS1 databases, with a change log in a separate sheet. For supplier integrations, I'll prioritize CSV drops if available, or REST APIs if not, using Python with Pandas for data merging and conditional formatting in Sheets to highlight pricing. The audit will run in batches to avoid rate limits, and the supplier sync will use caching to minimize API calls. I can outline the exact workflow and tech stack after reviewing the supplier feeds. I can start immediately. Thanks, Andrii.

Hello, I can build a system that audits and automates your fragrance data workflow by cross-referencing UPCs with GTIN databases and integrating supplier feeds into Google Sheets. I’ve helped a client automate product data validation for a cosmetics brand by cross-checking SKUs against a GTIN database, which caught 12% of incorrect UPCs before they went live. I’d approach this using Google Apps Script for the audit and Zapier for supplier integrations because it keeps everything in your existing workflow while avoiding custom API development. The biggest improvement will come from automatically flagging mismatches and pulling live pricing into a single dashboard. Proper validation will reduce errors that could lead to returns or lost sales, while the supplier dashboard will save hours of manual data entry. I’ll provide clear instructions for running the audit and setting up supplier syncs, including error handling for missing data. After delivery, I’ll walk you through how to update the system if suppliers change their feed formats. If this approach makes sense, I’d be happy to discuss the specific data sources and supplier details you’re working with. Thanks, Lazar.

Hello, After reviewing your project requirements, I understand you need an automated data validation and supplier integration system for 23,000 fragrance SKUs stored in Google Sheets. I have experience with Python, Google Sheets automation, API integration, data processing, and building repeatable workflows for large datasets. I can create a programmatic audit system to verify UPCs, product titles, and sizes against reliable data sources, update incorrect records, and maintain a detailed change log for every modification. For supplier synchronization, I would first analyze the available supplier feeds (API, CSV, or other formats) and build a scalable automation using Python or Google Apps Script depending on the final requirements. The system can refresh SKU availability, pricing, and highlight the best supplier option directly in your Sheet. The main challenge is maintaining accuracy across thousands of products while keeping the process reusable for future updates. My approach would be to build a validation pipeline, error reporting system, supplier data connectors, and clear documentation for independent operation after delivery. A couple of quick questions: • Which fragrance data sources or supplier systems do you currently have access to? • Do your suppliers provide API access, CSV feeds, or another data format? I would be glad to help build a reliable automation workflow that keeps your fragrance catalog accurate and up to date. Best regards, Carlos.

Hi, I can build a repeatable Python-based fragrance catalog verification and supplier automation system for your 27,000-row Google Sheet. I’ve read your updated requirements carefully and will use eCosmetics as the primary verification source, matching brand, title, size, concentration, gender, and packaging/condition, with evidence, change logs, review queues, backups, and no guessing on uncertain variants. I’ll also integrate FRX/TPS APIs, automate NBP’s login-dependent CSV workflow, and keep verified product identity separate from supplier pricing/inventory. The first milestone will be a 100–200-record accuracy pilot covering errors, testers, gift sets, size differences, and missing SKUs; I’ll provide the proposed stack, timeline, milestone pricing, total cost, and ongoing third-party costs after reviewing access requirements. Ready to start immediately. Best regards, Shakila Naz
