I'd optimise for both and report both, so you're not left wondering why the number moved and the rankings didn't yet. On a site like yours the LCP is almost certainly the hero image plus render-blocking builder CSS. The single most common mistake I find is the hero image being lazy-loaded, which actively delays LCP — that image should be preloaded with `fetchpriority="high"` instead, served as WebP or AVIF at correctly sized `srcset` breakpoints rather than one desktop-sized file scaled down on phones. Then critical CSS inlined for above-the-fold with the rest deferred, and unused CSS/JS stripped per template so your service pages aren't loading assets only the contact form needs. Third-party scripts are usually the other half: chat widgets, GTM and especially a Google Maps embed on the contact page are heavy — I'd self-host fonts with `font-display: swap`, delay non-essential scripts until user interaction, and swap the Maps iframe for a static image that loads the real map on click. Server side I'd check TTFB, PHP version, page and object caching before assuming it's all front-end. On results, I'll be straight with you: sub-2s and green on desktop is very achievable; green on mobile depends on how much the theme fights back, and after the initial audit I'll tell you honestly what the realistic ceiling is rather than promise a number I can't hit.
