I already have a working 0-100km/h timer that runs on both iOS and Android. The UI is finished and the app is in a private test build; I now need a developer who can make its results as precise as possible. Right now, it seems like the previous developer has used a refresh rate that is too long, because, for some cars, the timer starts counting well after the vehicle has started to move. This results in a slow 0-100 time, even though I know the vehicle is quicker as I use a Racelogic Vbox Sport (stand-alone GPS data logger) for my tests. I want this app as a back-up and something I can share on the app stores. The two areas that still need attention are: • GPS signal precision • Speed calculation accuracy – sharpening the start/stop triggers at 0km/h and 100km/h, and eliminating the time drift I see on repeated runs. Everything else in the project should stay untouched: design, screens, and the overall structure. Your solution can optimise the existing code or create something custom if that yields better fidelity – as long as the app functions as intended. Deliverables 1. Updated source code with the improved GPS/speed algorithm. 2. A concise tech note outlining what you changed, any new libraries or native modules added, and how to tweak accuracy thresholds. 3. Test evidence from at least two real-world (or high-grade simulated) runs showing significantly tighter repeatability. 4. Anything else I need to launch the app onto Apple Store and Android Play Store. I am also looking to expand this app to host on my website server, because right now the app stores results on the user's phone. I want to create an online community for the results – I can explain more, but for now I just want the app working and reasonably accurate. When you reply, please briefly describe similar GPS or motion-tracking optimisation work you have handled so I can gauge fit quickly. Thank you
