I would like to put together something to promote my organisation in an online game Star Citizen by Chris Roberts which is a work of fiction. Cloud Imperium Games have released some art and game resources to be able to create some good looking work that they allow us to use under a fan license, so any graphic work at [url removed, login to view] may be used.
I have created some basic designs myself, but would like to see if these can be made more professional looking and reworked, possibly using alternative assets.
PSD files are supplied, but am open to the existing work being scrapped and something else being put together.
Purpose
The purpose of SMELT is to engage is firstly salvage work. The first aspect of the organisation is going out and recycling equipment in space, melting down what is found and turning scrap (destroyed spaceships) into resources that can be sold, and making a profit. The key to the organisation is a newly released ship called the Reclaimer (art attached). The second aspect is highlighting that not only does the org do this for you, but they hire the ships so you can go and do this work yourself. This will be done by
Work required
Create a logo for the organisation ([url removed, login to view]), either using the SMELT/SALVAGE acronym, or creating something different while preserving the aspect of Salvage and being able to hire ships.
Use that Logo on both a small and larger banner to create a futuristic and appealing design.
LOGO - Logo is used on the main webpage in conjunction with the banners (dimensions: 175x175).
LARGE BANNER - It will be shown as the main banner on the organization page (dimensions: 1140x380).
SMALL BANNER - Uses the same assets as the large banner, it will be shown on the forums (dimensions: 1140x380).
ICON - Icon image for the organization. It will be used on your member profiles (dimensions: 24x24) and should be distinctive, recognizable and simple.
