Logo Design for Global Artisans Marketplace

The name of the company is Global Artisans Marketplace (GAM). We are a fair trade company and all of our products are handmade. Here is a link to our website: www.globalartisansmarketplace.com. Please keep in mind that we are not tied to the color or banner photo on the mainpage of the website. We are looking essentially for a clean, simple, but unique logo that's easy to identify. To help you understand what we are looking for in more detail, I have included my partners answers to the set of questions I posed below: Do we want the logo detailed or simple? Simple but eye-catching. The simplier the better but meaningful. Do we have a particular font we want used? We are open to any font as long as it looks good and fancy. Suggestions: [login to view URL] Do we have specific colors we want used? Earth color if possible because they are associated with fair trade and are enviromentaly concious. Earth colors sounds good to me. Thought the combination of turquoise and brown, yellow and grey would work. Suggestion: [login to view URL] Do we have a specific shape we want used? Any, that possibly includes some of the following: hands, globe, textiles, stones, indigenous symbols, or faces Maybe one of the Suggestiond in #2 can help decide. Other ideas/comments We should keep in mind that eventually we may use our logo for our own printing material such as: letter heads, labels, business cards, etc. Therefore we should take into account size and colors. Our logo should be able to express who we are without any words attached to it The logo with the hands I suggested would work as long as we emphasize what GAM does. It should say "we sell unique merchandise" more than we are a fair trade company.
