Logo for Band

We are looking for someone to create a simple logo for our band. We wish that the logo be only text but want a custom look that we can place on flyers, stickers etc.
Our design influences very from 50's horror movies, retro rockabilly, traditional tattoo flash, hot rods, kustom culture etc.
We would like simple black text but would like the logo to look like a whole piece, not just a fancy font.
