Production support for marketing dept.

The Nature Conservancy seeks an individual to provide temporary production support for the California Marketing Department, working from the Conservancy’s San Francisco office. Production deliverables could include but not be limited to: • Printed materials such as invitations, advertisements, and fact sheets in keeping with Conservancy style. • Digital materials such as evites and enewsletters. • Web content such as project pages or special features using the Conservancy’s content management system. • Updated photo archive, securing photos as necessary, and assigned short videos of TNC projects. • Copywriting of short pieces and editing of print and online materials. We are looking for a consultant with the following skills: • Mid-level graphic design skills; facility with Creative Suite 4, Final Cut Pro, and MS Office Suite. • Production management and project coordination experience. • Print-production experience helpful. • Mid-level video production/editing skills. • Experience working with content management systems; experience with Oracle Universal Content Management (OUCM) helpful. • Understanding of photography/photographic composition; photo-editing experience. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Strong writing and editing skills. Knowledge of AP style. The consultant will produce deliverables for the senior creative manager and will work with marketing, government/external affairs and conservation program staff as necessary to produce deliverables. Timeframe • Projects would begin in September 2012 and extend through December 2012. Proposal Requirements The Nature Conservancy is requesting that all interested parties submit a proposal outlining the following: • Consultant’s name, address, phone, e-mail, primary contact, whether legally organized as a business (if so, Federal ID No.) • A description of your experience and why you are best suited to produce these deliverables • Samples of design work • Samples of video work • Three to five samples of copywriting or other written materials • Three referrals of past clients, with contact information • Proposed work schedule • Fee structure General Proposal Instructions All proposal responses must be received electronically by September 10, 2012, 5 pm Pacific.
