Website for Custom Homebuilder

Hi there, I am looking for a graphic designer / web programmer to design my website, www.hazelgrovehomes.com. A quick summary of the job description is below: I am a custom home builder in Toronto. I generally only build homes on “spec” (that is, I put them up and then sell the finished product – I don’t build on request). I am a very low volume builder, but I believe I build some of the best high performance (green) houses in the city and I would like to showcase that through a blog … and potentially get some requests for people that would like me to build their home. The blog function will be the main focus of the site where I make daily posts during a build on every point that I think is important (e.g., Day 1 I may video/photo the house demolition and write about how it is done and why we do it the way we do from a cost benefit perspective (with pictures included) … day 30 I may blog about the insulation installation, why we chose the product we did, post pictures, video, etc.). The blog posts should not be dated. Eventually the blog will be a treasure trove of building information that ideally a person will see and think “I want this guy to build my home because I see the effort and care he puts into building his”. The site should be simple (for example, see [login to view URL]) that exudes professionalism and understated luxury. Possibly a flat design. I have a splash page up at [login to view URL] that tries to convey that. The landing page/main homepage may look something like the already up [login to view URL], with sharp logos/graphics pointing to “about” (which will be a small blurb about myself very similar to what is posted [login to view URL]), “contact”, “projects/blog” and “gallery”. I don’t have many photos right now so the gallery should be disabled, but easy for me to “turn on” and upload photos as they become available. A few additional points: 1. The blog should be taggable. That is, I should be able to tag each post to a project “141 Westmount Ave.”, for example. When someone visits the blog they will be able to select that tag (including others, such as “lighting”, “landscaping” and so forth) so they can quickly and easily see all posts related to that project / subject. a. Since the blog will contain most of the information, I would like it to be active. People should be able to email links of blog posts, post them on social media, see “new” posts, etc. I think the “Wordpress Ultimate X Theme” does think (I have purchased the theme and loaded it to a test site, [login to view URL]) that could be used. The site should be SEO optimized. I would like people searching for “custom home builder Toronto, Home builder Toronto” etc. to be able to find my site. I think that’s a good starter for now. I think the “WordPress - X - The Ultimate WordPress Theme” accomplishes most of what I need to do and can be used as the starting point, but I am open to suggestions. Thanks
