I need some graphic design. On March 1, 1896 Empress Taytu Betul of Ethiopia and Emperor Menelik II destroyed an invading Italian army of 18,000 at the Battle of ADWA and preserved Ethiopia's independence. I'm working on a graphic book and want a sample cover illustration --the best-- realistic looking (but a bit idealized too -- giving both of them super human qualities consistent with the great victory. An African army was not expected to defeat a European army. I'm thinking of a sample cover with Empress Taytu a little in front of Menelik both of them heroic in victory with the bodies of defeated Italian soldiers (and some Ethiopians who also fell) around them. I want to see someone whose portfolio shows they can deliver such a cover. I will select based on existing portfolio so you don't have to spend time making this sample cover unless selected.
The Italians had modern rifles, mountain machine guns and canons. The Ethiopians also had modern rifles they purchased from Italy and England and canons from Russia as well as traditional shields and swords.
