Fix lighting & shadows in picture using photoshop

I took a picture of a client but it got really messed up. I need someone who is good at lighting and understands how light works to completely fix up this picture. The contrast and exposure do not match at all, the shadows of the boy don't align with the shadows of the girl. The boy doesn't even have a shadow behind him, the highlights of the girl don't even match up with the boy s highlights. The shadows of the boy doesn't fit the shadows of the girl. Need someone to fix up al these problems completely and make the picture look highly realistic. Picture is attached below.
