My website has been running since 2009 and was initially running under Drupal 6. In July, 2016 I hired someone through freelancer to upgrade it from Drupal 6 to Drupal 8. The website used to get a very high level of traffic but immediately after upgrading traffic dropped almost immediately. We still get traffic but not at the same levels as on the previous version. One reason seems to be a drop in SEO rankings, and we no longer get as many users coming in through search engines. When I search for keywords on Google most times the website is listed in page 3 or above if at all, when prior to that we would be in page 1. The reduced traffic has also led to decreased Adsense earnings. The earnings also dropped almost immediately. The new version is on a responsive theme, but I don't like the way the page looks on mobile. Neither do our users who have been complaining since. I would like a new design that looks better on mobile, and has a tab at the bottom of mobile devices giving users an option of Desktop View, where they would get to see the website as it appears on desktop computers. I would also like the mobile site to have Adsense Ads optimized for mobile when viewing on mobile. Currently there is a large 728x90 leaderboard banner that appears on both desktop and mobile, and is getting cut off on mobile - not a good user experience.
