I need some Graphic Design

Hi,
I'd like to get a map to put in the beginning of my historical fiction book that shows the major locations in the story. I really like how the attached 'Plutarch map' looks. The area in the red box is what I want to be included. I don't want any of the text from the Plutarch map, with the exception of 'Carthage', 'Numidia' (I put little stars to highlight their location on the map so you can see them - don't reproduce the stars), and 'Italy'. Please also reproduce the mountain range running down the centre of Italy.
The Italian part of the map should include the locations shown in the 'Italy map'. I would like to have a dashed line showing my character's trajectory across the sea as shown in the Italy map.
The final image should be high res (300 dpi) jpg format. Size should be about 1700*1350 pixels. The color should be black and white.
