I've had an online e-greeting card website built, jquery component where a customer can customize Front, Inner (Both Sides) and Back page and then order it for printing to the chosen recipients address.
We then pick up individual transactions download and print respective transactions to order via the admin dashboard
Im having issues with quality control once original greeting card uploaded/converted onto the site and then printed to order.
The original uploaded images are high resolution jpeg files. Once consumer view template on the front end the image becomes distorted and pixelated. Thus also has impact on image quality on a it's been downloaded and printed from site.
I want to be able to upload the original high res file and maintain consistency show it shows up clearly and not distorted on the front end plus when template has been edited and ordered. We can download the same high res file with customer edits and then print.
I believe the problem is in backend coding of site which compresses, uploads and stores the image. This may needs to be reconfigured to allow larger images and of not compress files to a thumbnail for the front end.
All the main pages of website are based on PHP technology and are manageable by admin function.
Built using JQuery and Document Object Model (DOM), CSS3 and HTML5 on interactive effect on website.
