I am currently looking for a Developer(s) to build the first prototype for an app I am working on. This will be the first working prototype and in essence our MVP (minimum viable product) The app WILL NOT be published to either of the appstores as it will go into a private-beta first. Used only by our testers in a controlled environment.

We want the product to be developed in Phonegap/Cordova so we can get it out quickly and have it available to both platforms at the same time. (there may be some other tools needed as add-ons. eg Ionix)

The product will be deemed complete once the application does what it is supposed to do, has been fully tested, debugged and we are confident the private-beta testing can commmence.

After this private-beta testing, there will be a round of revisions to iron out any bugs within the system and then it will be tested again. We will go through this AGILE method of short sprints and iterations until the final application can be put into a public-beta(this will still be a select user group) We can discuss how this is billed. Either as an hourly rate or as a flat rate.

This initial stage we expect to be delivered within 4-6 six weeks hopwever the project will have many stages, so could be ongoing work for the next 6-12months to the right developer(s).

The basic spec for the appication is as follows...

- access to Pinpoint Location through GPS

- access to General Location through GSM or network triagulation

- Access to Facebook contacts

- Access to phonebook contacts

- Login through Facebook API & Google+ API

- Access to messaging API (either whatsapp or sms)

- Support BOTH Android & iOS through phonegap

- Ability to track usage of the app . E.G some kind of analytics( who, where, when) Ideally through 'Mixpanel'.

There are some finer details that have purposely been omitted from this job spec but they will be discussed with the developer once the job has been awarded.

Unfortunately this job WILL NOT be awarded to anybody who is not based in Europe or USA. As I will be managing the project myself I cannot work with any developer who is more than 3hours time difference from London. (exception made for US developers)

Before awarding the job I ideally would like to see any work you have done previously in Cordova/Phonegap. Apps that are available in either Apple Appstore or Google Playstore. I will download and use these apps as part of the selection process. As part of your bid, please give links to apps you have already published on Cordova/Phonegap so i may test them to get a feel for your credentials.

I will then schedule a conference call or skype/hangout chat to speak with you before awarding the job.

Please bid based on initial delivery of first part of the project. If you make it to the shortlist, I will give you the opportunity to amend the bid if necessary.
