# WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a highly motivated, friendly and technically sound problem solver to join our industry renowned client success team. The person will help eCommerce merchants who are trying to set up our app on their store during our off-hours.
# ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are a AI platform that helps online merchants improve their conversions by optimizing parts of their site. Today we are a top rated app in the Shopify app store and happily used by thousands of eCommerce merchants around the world!
# PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
✓ Speak to and help eCommerce merchants to answer their non-technical questions about the software and their Shopify store.
✓ Help identify issues with integration of our app.
✓ Suggest improvements and fixes to merchants.
✓ Collaborate with Engineering team to report bugs, UI/UX issues, comments from clients, feature suggestions, etc
✓ Help customize appearances and behaviour of our integrated content on Shopify (and in the future on other eCommerce platforms).
Requirements for this role include:
✓ Minimum 1 year of experience working in customer service.
✓ Very good understanding of CSS and HTML;
✓ Strong familiarity with eCommerce, especially Shopify (Magento and BigCommerce are a plus!)
✓ EXCELLENT debugging and problem solving skills.
✓ EXTREMELY STRONG proficiency in written and spoken English and ability to communicate effectively.
✓ Able to work on-call 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday + 5pm-1am Monday-Friday - GMT-5.
# NICE TO HAVE
You don't have to have these things at all, however they are a big plus if you do:
- A post-secondary degree in IT, Software Development or Engineering
- Experience working in a Technical Support or Customer Service environment
- PHP programming experience and knowledge
- Ruby/Rails programming experience and knowledge
- Strong web developments skills; and understanding of responsive web design.
- Web design skills
- Ability to speak any of the following languages: Spanish, German, Dutch, Portuguese and/or French.
- Experience working with Shopify themes (liquid), Magento themes (PHTML) and/or BigCommerce themes (Blueprint and Handlebars).
