i am using a simple user registration form given here [login to view URL]

the form works fine but it is not sending emails.

you need to make changes (as instructed by hosting provider) and make emailing work. Check instruction by hosting provider here [login to view URL]

Below emails should send....

1) confirmation email upon registration with confirmation link

2)welcome email after confirmation link is clicked

Also add new non-editable form field
