We run PPC campaigns for clients, and need a little help setting up a reporting template we can use going forwards.
First off we need help deciding the best way to automate this - API vs Adwords Dump ? We have about 20 clients we do this for each month...
The elements we would like to include in the report include:
-'Summary' --> all ad groups with imps/clicks/cpc/ctr/cost/conv/cpl (sorted by campaign/ad groups)
-top 10 keyword searches (impressions)
-top 10 keywords (clicks)
-quality score pie graph (all keywords?)
-monthly comparison (last ~6 months) --> imps/clicks/spend/conv - possibly in graph form or 2 separate graphs
-Basically we are after something a bit generalist, and easy to understand, but with meaningful insight.
We feel we will best achieve this by highlighting some info, and presenting other in graphs.
We'd really like your insight if you think something could be changed improved if you decide to go ahead and help us.
Requirements: Please send us a previous example of an adwords report you have created (Excel format). Failure to do this will result in your big not being considered.
