Cross-Platform Service Marketplace App

I’m creating a mobile marketplace that lets people discover, book, and pay vetted service providers from one place—think Rover, but expanded to several everyday services. I’m still in the research phase and want to move quickly toward an MVP that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android before October. The UI/UX design is mostly complete looking for backend help and API integration. Your main focus will be end-to-end app development: shaping the technical architecture, building the core flows, and iterating with me as we validate features. The first release must include: • Secure account creation with provider and customer profiles, ratings, and written reviews • Real-time in-app messaging between customers and providers • Integrated payments (Stripe or an equivalent gateway) with escrow-style fund release once a booking is completed Expect location search, availability calendaring, and push notifications to follow soon after the core build, so structuring clean, modular code is important. We’ll work part-time, fully remote, but you must reside in the United States for easier time-zone collaboration and eventual on-site testing sessions. Weekly check-ins, Git-based version control, and a staging environment on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing will keep us on track. Deliverables for the October hand-off: 1. Production-ready iOS and Android builds uploaded for review 2. Complete, well-commented source code and README covering environment setup 3. Basic unit and integration test suite demonstrating login, booking, chat, and payment flows 4.
