The main idea:
Parking on the streets of Philadelphia can be brutal, especially to commuters who are unfamiliar to their urban surroundings and the city's parking policies/signs. It is why they film the TV series Parking Wars here. My idea is Park Buddy, it is an application that will give the commuter a simple and detailed description of the parking signs according to their geo location. The signs will need to change according to the time of day. It will operate on a 4 x 4 block radius. This project will have a few other features that will be flushed out once we move along.
Ex:
Search the street parking (in the 4 x 4 block radius) ( I will provide the parking data )
Search Garage parking ( includes prices, contact number, and other things)
Show a list view of closet garage parking
Search for kiosks
Set a return reminder
Switch between truck/sedan parking ( unsure if this will make it in the final version)
