Job Description:
In the reception year of school, children need to be able recognise and read the numbers 1-20. As a teacher I know the most effective way to teach this is through repeated retrieval practice. I would like to develop an app to help children learn this basic skill. The number should flash up and children should say the number. In order and in random order. There should be opportunity to practise numbers 1-5. 1-10. 11-20 and 1-20.
I would also like there to be function to order the [login to view URL] dragging into order. From biggest to smallest and vice versa.
Children should also be able to complete missing number lines by selecting or typing missing numbers in a short sequence.
