For the past 3 years I have been hiring several different programmers with very good success to help bring to life different reading and math education projects. I would now like to hire someone with skills in ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0 and possibly JAVA for a permanent full-time position. In the past I have designed the physical appearance of the program using flash. I then give detailed instructions of how this program needs to operate and you do the rest. For example, we just finished a math facts teaching tool that tests students on 100 multiplication facts one at a time. The program recorded wrong answers and how long it took to answer each problem. When a wrong answer was made, the program would then begin a mini-practice lesson with the incorrect math fact. At the end, the user could then view detailed summary of the test. Practice worksheets were also made using only the incorrect math facts. This is just an example of the kinds of things I do. I have other projects I want to begin for teaching correct typing - and making a math skills program that when a user gets a wrong answer, the program then jumps to a video that teaches the math skill. The bottom line is I have lots of projects and need someone to work full-time. However, to monitor the work, we need to have a screen capture application so I could watch and comment what you are doing for a certain time each day. For example from 9AM to 5PM your time, I could go to my computer and open up a URL and watch what you are doing and communicate with you during that time. Again, this is a full time position that will go on for many years for the right person. I give nice bonuses for good work. However, I would like for you to bid on how much weekly salary you would need for doing this full-time position. The main skills you will need are AS2 and be able to integrate student responses so they are shown in a database. You will be communicating with my other programmer in Kyrgistan from time to time if assistance is needed. I am not necessarily going select the lowest bidder. After you have left your bid, I will be requesting that you do a small project in which I'll pay $50 for when completed. This same $50 project will be given to 5 other programmers. I then want to see how long it takes for your to complete the project and each person will be given $50 for doing it. However, the person who does the fastest and best work on the mini-project will receive the position. I am expecting to pay a salary in the range of $250 to $500 per month. If you think you might be interested please let me know.
