The contracted developer will be required to develop a small online game, entitled "ten squares". The objective of the game is simple.
Players are given a 1x10 square grid.
Numbers are randomly generated from 1-100.
When the number is generated, users are allowed to place the number anywhere in the grid, MUST be placed alpha-numberically. Numbers cannot be placed in any order other than ascending from 1-100.
Players cannot amend number positions once they have been placed.
The winner is the first player to successfully complete a grid of "ten squares" with a legal grid.
Chat would be a plus, but not required.
The game would be online only, and playable with four players at a time.
You'd be required to code the client, as well as a server that we could host for users to log in to and play. This could be circumvented if players could host their own games and let others join by IP. Either is preferred.
Music, graphics and sound effects will be provided.
