There will be a form text field, and submit button next to it.
The user types their "Sound Cloud" user name in the text field and clicks the submit button
The script will then:
1) Visit the Sound Cloud users page and grab the "iframe embed code" for the users "playlist"
2) The script will take the iframe embed code and insert it into a second "text area" box below the top box
3) The script will also display a small "check mark icon" and message "Import Successful" OR if their was an error (ex: the user typed in the wrong user name and the script couldn't find the right page), then an error message displays "There was an error. Please make sure you entered the proper Sound Cloud user name and try again.
4) The embed code which will display in the bottom text area field will not be able to be altered.
This must be created in java script, as it must be independent and able to drop into any webpage easily. As this import tool will be part of a larger Submit Form.
Here is a random example sound cloud page:
user types in: "snoopdogg" (in the text field) clicks submit for the script to go to this page:
[url removed, login to view]
^ you can see the playlist embed code by clicking the "share" button (4th button from the left at the top of the page).
This would be the embed code:
<iframe width="100%" height="450" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="[url removed, login to view]"></iframe>
The script would take this code and automatically input it into a second text area field below the top text field.
Any further questions, ask. This should be very basic.
