We are looking for a Java / Liferay and web developer who can build a basic theme based on jQuery mobile. The aim of this project is to create a very basic theme which could look exactly as the jQuey mobile documentation page: [url removed, login to view]
The page should include a header bar, a menu and a content section as in the demo page.
It is ok to use the same code from this demo. The menu may float left or move to the top based on the device’s resolution and orientation. The menu must contain the Liferay page structure.
We are still evaluating if Liferay will be used as a content management system for the solution. We need to know if we can get Liferay to produce jQuery Mobile content.
We only need to use a single column layout.
The liferay version that is used: Liferay Portal Standard Edition 5.2.3 (cannot be updated)
Pease be aware that Liferay themes are based on a base theme. This theme needs to override all existing code to make it work.
It is ok if the portal cannot be updated from the pages viewed in this new theme.
The end result would be an installable theme that includes a content page and a login page. We would like to be able to experiment with adding portlets to a single column page.
Feel free to ask any questions
I have already done some Liferay implementations for mobiles including iscroll for ipad/iphone and a fully custom theme implementation that serves for android, ios, blackberry, symbion.
