Our company is using software called alpha5 to create a web inventory application.
Alpha5 is a database program (dbf) that can be used for desktop applications or web applications. The web applications are built using wizards and some parts hand written coding. The coding is mostly xbasic with a few things falling around java and or ajax callbacks.
This inventory will need to be all web based. We have a good bit of it built, but need some help with a few custom written scripts to finish it and create a smooth transaction for the entire site.
One of the biggest functions of this inventory system is the ability to have several of the same items (separated by individual serial numbers) to have different locations at our warehouse. This system will need to automatically move all items that are labeled as "Sold" to another table labeled as Sold Inventory. This system will also need to have the ability to search several (10-20 at a time) part numbers and batch convert their location to "Sold".
Some of these functions are working on our application, just not as fluid as we would like.
We are looking for someone that would be able to help us with this application. Please post your hourly charges.
Information on alpha5 can be found at its website. [url removed, login to view]
You can also download a 30 day full function demo of the software there.
