Hello there, I'm not an IBM ACE specialist but I'm interested in this project so I hope we can discuss. I have experience with the IBM Java EE stack, and also with a direct competitor of IBM ACE -- Oracle Service Bus (OSB). My IBM Java EE experience is as follows: - IBM WebSphere - IBM MQ - IBM DB2 / Apache Derby The project was migration of a banking system from COBOL + Oracle 7 to Java EE + IBM DB2. The app was using pure Java EE and not Spring Boot: CDI, JPA, JAX-RS / JAX-WS, JMS. Data persistence was managed by EclipseLink (JPA), business logic by EJBs (Enterprise JavaBeans), and the messaging (MQ) side was managed by JMS and MDBs (Message-Driven Beans). Apache Derby was used in development because it was lightweight and DB2-compatible. The app was packaged in an *.ear (Enterprise Archive) file and deployed to WebSphere. I have over 20 years experience with Java and Java-based languages (Scala, Kotlin, Groovy). I have 10 years experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE and 10 years with Spring Boot.
