Motion Tracking Software Needed

I require a motion tracking software that would track the wing and body motion of fast moving birds and insect on HD video.

Example thereof is second 17 – 30 of the following youtube clip [url removed, login to view]

Requirements for Phase one

We assume that the camera position is 100% static. You need to first find a reference point on the object that does not make secondary movements. What I mean by no secondary movements is that it can move around in space (primary movement) but no secondary movement, like wing flapping. In the example it would typically be somewhere in the centre of the body of the bird to get a good stable reference point. This reference point might have to change as the object, in this case bird, changes orientation and the reference point goes out of sight. You would then track the movement of certain points on the wings, body and beak relative to that reference point to simulate the flight. You would need to have a 3D model of the object to be able to estimate the wing, body and beak movements.

All the co-ordinates need to be downloaded into a SQL database for analysis and added back in a 3D visual model which can be visualised in a different window.
