I have Java application code from a Freelancer that requires special installation to be functional. I don't need coding help, I need help with incorporating communications fixes to my build stream. The Freelancer said I need to do this:
File Name File path (You need to put the file on this path in your project) Package Name
1 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/appClientModule/tblcheck/view/[login to view URL] [login to view URL]
2 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/appClientModule/tblcheck/viewmodel/[login to view URL] [login to view URL]
3 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/appClientModule/tblcheck/view/[login to view URL] [login to view URL]
4 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/appClientModule/tblcheck/model/[login to view URL] [login to view URL]
5 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/appClientModule/tblcheck/helper/[login to view URL] [login to view URL]
6 [login to view URL] /TableCheck/layouts/[login to view URL]
The way I understand how my code works is I have a folder call TableCheck. In this folder I have different folders with the complete set of code to run the application. An example name for one of the folders might be: Texican65. To start the application I setup the Task Scheduler to run the [login to view URL] file in the Texican65 folder. when this [login to view URL] file is ran, the application starts up and is running.
I had a Freelancer make change to provide extremely reliable communications over the network. After testing that code for several weeks, it appeared that code had the communications reliability that the program needed. When I asked for the source code, they said they would provide the source. After telling me twice that they would send the source, they never did. After lying twice to me, I could not deal with that Freelancer any more. Finally a third party of this Freelancer did provide the source code which is available.
That source code is a 66MB file which means that I can not upload on Freelancer. We will need to figure out a way to get this source folder to you. I don't understand how I integrate the communications fixes into my code base. I was told to setup the code as described above. But I don't get it.
The basic issue is I need to incorporate the communications fixed into my build stream of code so I can continue to make updates, fix errors and feature adds to the Java code. I have added one of the current folders for the Java application that is part of the current build stream without the communications fixes for reference.
Another point is that the server in this application talks to the Java clients and to a Python client. This Python communication link does not have the issues that the Java server to Java client has. We can not break the communication to the Python to improve the communications for the Java.
The milestone will be release once the code is tested and works for an extended period of time, three weeks, with both the Java and Python clients.
