Require a Java program to manipulate text on a pdf document.
The program needs to take PDF document, search it for a regular expression, and replace any matches with replacement text.
After completing the search/replace the program needs to report the number of matches found, and save the PDF with the text changes
It's OK if it runs from the console in common Java IDE's, e.g. Intellij, Netbeans, etc
The program may use any free OS Java libraries for executing the PDF manipulation.
e.g.
PDF Clown: [url removed, login to view]
PDF Box: [url removed, login to view]
(note: can not use the iText java library as it's no longer supports free use)
Inputs:
1) PDF file
2) regular expression (REGEX)
3) replacement text string
Output:
1) Number of changes made
2) modified PDF document
