There are two separate pieces to our current project:
1) C# "Host" which functions as the "brain". It has all the game logic, data storage, etc.
2) Adobe Director - "front end" for actually displaying the game play. No game logic. Just interfaces necessary to play the game. The results come from the "brain".
We need #2 written on a different display engine. Adobe Director is old and tired and is very inefficient. Our target platform is a fanless board, single processor, 1.6 ghz with 2gb of ram using a CF for a hard drive.
Games that we currently have:
Slots (over 15) - most of them have bonus screens as well.
Menu system - for choosing the game
The entire front end communicates with the brain via TCP/IP connection using a simple, homegrown, text-based protocol. Specifications will be provided but it's not really complicated.
I can provide screenshots, artwork, etc. for the games.
What I am looking for is an engine that can be built upon easily for new games. (the types mentioned above - we can discuss other types later).
Asking the right questions is paramount to getting this contract. I don't want my time wasted with someone with a "Can do" attitude that doesn't possess the aptitude. If you don't understand what I mean, then don't bother bidding.
