Simple Unicode Font conversion with Ruby & Javascript

Convert text created in Unicode font X to Y using Ruby Language. I already have a Javasript code that does the conversion, however the requirement is to integrate existing logic into Ruby (or) calling the Javascript code directly from Ruby code so that it could handle .txt files. Conversion should be done directly from Ruby code without Rails. Please see attached PDF for the details. Thank you.
Input: A file containing a text written with font A.
Output: A file containing a text with font B.
Task: Write a Ruby program that takes input file containing font A text and write to another file with text converted to font B.
