Looking for Frontend dev with good JS/[login to view URL] skills for small fixes and improvement on an existing [login to view URL] mapping component that uses Google Map API, and a REST backend API.
Current milestone consists of tasks 1 to 8 in attached document.
Tasks 1 to 6 are very minor code changes, and we estimate that tasks 7 and 8 should take less than 2~3 working hours. Job budget includes some additional time to set up the project and get familiar with the existing codebase (you will be required to install the full stack, which uses Python/Flask for backend).
This is a small milestone, but we are hoping to use it as an evaluation for a larger collaboration on the project.
Current priorities are: fast delivery and well-tested code (must work flawlessly on all major browsers).
To help us gauge candidates (and make sure you have read the entire description before applying), please include in your proposal:
1. An estimate of work time and delivery date (assuming immediate start) for tasks 1 to 7 of the attached file (current job).
2. A very rough estimate (delivery date and budget) for tasks 9 and 10 (Note: these 2 tasks are not included in the current job posting, but would eventually be added in an extension, if current job is delivered satisfyingly).
We will be happy to share relevant existing code with interested applicants to help them give an estimate (but cannot provide access to the repository until after hiring).
