Hey, I have 7 years of experience in SharePoint development. SharePoint Online has file upload limit of 2GB when using REST APIs. So we can use that for creating an Add-in in SharePoint Online. Otherwise normal limits for uploading file using SPO default upload(Drag and Drop) is 10GB and 250MB for attachment.
