**Georgia Legal Research Paralegal Needed – Targeted Appellate Research** I am preparing a Motion for Summary Judgment and am seeking an experienced legal research paralegal or legal researcher. This is a targeted research project, not a drafting project. I have already identified the primary legal issues and several preliminary authorities. I need assistance locating, verifying, and summarizing the strongest Georgia appellate authority relevant to those issues. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience researching Georgia law * Familiarity with Westlaw, Lexis, Fastcase, Casetext, or similar platforms * Experience locating Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals decisions * Ability to Shepardize/KeyCite authorities and confirm they remain good law **Research Areas** The assignment will focus on identifying Georgia appellate authority concerning: 1. Reasonable reliance * Justifiable reliance * Ordinary diligence * Reliance where contradictory information exists * Reliance when information was available to the party 3. Inquiry notice and duty to investigate * Constructive notice * Inquiry notice * Circumstances triggering a duty to investigate I have already identified several preliminary cases and legal theories and will provide those materials after hiring. **Deliverable** Please provide: * Relevant case citation * Court and year * Key quotation * Brief explanation of relevance * Confirmation whether the authority remains good law No lengthy memorandum is required. **Estimated Scope** I will provide: Current Statement of Undisputed Material Facts (SUMF) Discovery responses from both defendants Copy of O.C.G.A. § 31-21-7 (Georgia statute) Defendants' answers and affirmative defenses Preliminary case list already identified The goal is to identify the strongest controlling Georgia authority supporting specific legal propositions relevant to summary judgment.
