We require company to provide our website technician with a walkthrough guide on getting ffmpeg working on our linux server, specifically a problem we are having with getting LAME (codec converter) working correctly.
As far as we can tell, the version of LAME currently installed with ffmpeg is having issues. We require the guide to address the following:
1) How to remove the current install of LAME 3.98.2 (which is having problems)
2) How to installed the older version of LAME 3.97, which was working for us.
Due to the nature of the project, the initial guide should be written by you, which we will then execute whilst you are directly walking our technician through the process via skype, and you are thento add these recommended steps to the guide on the fly, so we have a documented process to follow should the issue arise again in the event of an OS / website reinstall.
The guide should be written with full explanations of the processes being undertaken, all linux terminal commands that need to be done, and any other associated advice or comments that our technician requests.
We expect with the help of an experienced user of ffmpeg with high level linux skills that the project should be completed extrememly quickly, and your bid should refelct this.
Successfull applicants will display both a high level of experience, multiple references and a low project budget request. Payment will be completed when we confirm that video media can successfully be uploaded through our website.
Please PM any questions you may have concerning this project.
