In our project we have two applications running in a client-server configuration directly on a Mediatek board that is under OpenWRT control. In order to work a client application (written by our company) needs to open an UDP socket secured by DTLS protocol to the server application (provided by a third party company).
After migration of server application to its newest version we have encountered a problem with establishing connection between them. Server actively refuses connection on DTLS handshake stage. We have discovered that when we run server application on a separate board (BeagleBoneBlack with Ubuntu onboard) and make our client app to connect to it remotely the problem does not occur.
We need an expert to analyze and solve the problem so we will be able to run both client and server applications back on the same Mediatek board under OpenWRT control.

I've been working on OpenWRT systems for 3 years. I also write new packages and software for the same. I have experience with mt76 based boards. Let's discuss milestones and deliverables for this project.
