Hello, Although there are not much details about security requirements between your two servers, i assume you want a secure WWW-DB architecture between two servers and/or secure data transfer between them for either test/dev or backup/development server purposes. Before detailing what can be done in details i think it would best to have a small chat to better understand your requirements and goals with this project. As technical details for example will be different if you are worried about PCI-DSS regulations and/or if you want to be malware/spam free and/or you want to encrypt your data somehow. I am a CISSP and CISA certified system administrator along with VMware, Redhat and ITIL certifications (i can prove them). I have been setting up/configuring/managing several servers for several years and have been involved several security related projects successfully.
