I have a project with directories 6 layers deep (or more)
I have numerous folders titled "sessions" with session files inside that always start with sess_ ie;
sess_ocgpfvj1rvg841qpmkl17vncj5
There are many folders that start with sessions ie;
core-folder\mysites\site1\sessions\
core-folder\mysites\site2\sessions\
core-folder\mysites\site3\sessions\
When I am in the root of my project (core-folder) and do an svn add * to add all files in this repo I :
* DO want it to add the folders called sessions
* DO NOT want it to add any of the files that start with sess_ in any of the folders
I have researched global-ignores but am uncertain of how best to apply.
I would like to have only ONE file for instance [login to view URL] that contains all wildcard ignores ie; sess_* and applies it RECURSIVELY to all child folders.
Also, when I use svn add * --force will this add these anyway ?
Thank you
