Importer of Record in India for Amazon FBA -- 2

Hi, I am the Business Development Manager at Magnavita, a Nordic FMCG startup based in Norway. We intend to expand our operations by selling our food products on Amazon India (FBA). Therefore, it is important that you are familiar with the Amazon FBA process. Based on our research, we need to either have an Indian authorized agent / importer of record with company formation in India and IEC or establish a company in India ourselves, with IEC for FSSAI Licensing and registration purposes for Import and Marketing. We could incorporate a company in India and then apply for FSSAI license, IE code and for instance sanitary import permit ourselves. However, we would prefer to use an authorized agent / Importer of Record to reduce the complexities in the beginning.
