LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ INTRODUCTION We’re working on a new production of a feature film. The story is set in not so distant future - 2045. This future is only a bit more advanced than our current reality, but people are able to use teleportation – in time and space. Government and major corporations have setup the monopoly agency Teleport, providing this kind of service to public. Graphical elements of this corporation are heavily used in the film; therefore we have to create the branding for Teleport, and first of all – the logo. TASK Develop logo ideas for Teleport corporation. Colours are not so important, we mainly care about shape at this stage. In case if you come up with a few different ideas, please keep all your designs on ONE single page. REQUIREMENTS - The logo must be identified easily – simple and technological. - The logo must be 2D, so could be used as stencil for example. - Colours are not so important, single colour is fine too. - The name Teleport should only be placed as part of a graphic symbol which can be used separately as well. In other words – we don’t want to follow the classic style of “symbol + name written next to it”. - “Text only” logos shouldn’t be considered either. - Futurism is not the main theme here - it shouldn’t be extravagant and deliberate, as the future is just slightly advanced reality, rather than a fantasy world. Our viewers live in the current time and might not get something too advanced. - Style of the logo shouldn’t be gentle and elegant - we need something simple, bold, friendly and human, but without being too sweet or politically correct. TERMS & CONDITIONS - Submissions are accepted in any file format, even JPEG. - Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2011, 00.00 GMT. - We’ll choose the winner on 3 June 2011 and notify everyone by email. - The winner will be awarded with £300 - in cash, Paypal or bank transfer. - If we don’t receive any suitable designs by the deadline time, we’ll simply choose the best work and award the person with £100.
