We are seeking for a Part Time office administrative assistant position for a small but rapidly growing Interior Design Firm. Searching for someone with part-time availability 2 -3 days a week or approx. 15-20 hrs per week in South Asheville office. This is not a position for someone seeking to become an Interior Designer. Your resume must demonstrate a clear ability to perform administrative task effectively and efficiently. Having a passion for Design is preferred.
Daily tasks will include (but not limited to) light office accounting (creating purchase orders, data entry), vendor correspondence and price gathering, email correspondence, office supply management, office calendar maintained, online research, social media updating, organization of office, filing paperwork, and keeping resource library and catalogs organized and updated.
Requirements for position:
2-3 years admin experience a MUST, able to create documents/forms as needed for maximum organization. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Light accounting in Quickbooks online and Ivy Interior Design Software.
Strong communication skills
Analytical thinker/problem solver
Proactive attitude towards increasing efficiency in daily office tasks
Intuitive thinking, able to recognize potential issues and develop a management solution
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Good Work Ethics
Ideal candidate would also have:
Some college preferred
Familiar with Interior Design Industry a plus
Occasionally be available to attend Design Events with team if applicable with possible light travel (rare)
Starting rate $11 per hour based on experience
