I need a working physical prototype of a reusable lid that locks onto every common drink-can size—Red Bull, Monster, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and anything in between—using a single twist-and-lock mechanism. The most critical feature for me is leaving enough internal volume and thermal interface for an integrated cooling system that will eventually hold the liquid between 2 °C and 4 °C. Even in this first build, the housing geometry, heat-sink clearance, and battery compartment must be accounted for so the electronics can drop straight in when I am ready. The look I am chasing is minimalist and functional: clean lines, no visual noise, but still robust enough for daily carry. The body should be food-grade ABS, the seal a food-grade silicone ring that stays airtight to keep carbonation in and spills out. A low-profile digital LED on the top will show drink temperature, battery level, and cooling status; please recess it so it sits flush with the surface. I also want a molded loop that accepts a small stainless carabiner so users can hook the lid to a backpack or belt. Key work involved: • Mechanical design (CAD in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) for the universal locking collar, silicone gasket channel, battery bay, and LED window • Material selection and sourcing for food-safe ABS, silicone, and any transparent lens material for the display • Rapid prototyping—3-D print, CNC, or low-volume injection—to deliver a fully assembled, testable unit • Basic waterproofing tests for the seal and fit tests across the full can range (250 ml to 500 ml) • A short video or photo set proving the prototype fits each can size, survives a shake test without leaking, and shows the LED powering up (mock data on the screen is fine at this stage) Acceptance criteria: 1.
