I have an Arduino MKR1000 monitoring a power failure system. When the power fails, the MKR registers a change of state in the system's "off-line" LED (changes state to on, which is captured by a photo-resistor. The Arduino then sends an power failure alert via wifi. May need help cleaning up the existing code, but for now what is most pressing;
building code that performs a self-diagnostics (to include wifi connectivity status) and sends out a report email every hour.
Also, the Arduino will be on separate power of course. It will be plugged into an AC outlet that will charge a backup lipo battery just in case more the system it monitors loosed power. Can I also develop a routine that will alert me of the lipo's charge every 7 to 10 days?
