Simple packing list DB, needs to be converted form Microsoft Access 97 to Filemaker pro 11. Attached is a sample output from the current access db. Currently user is prompted with a form to supply needed information for shipping/packing lists. Database should be searchable(new function) and should be able to tell if a packing list has been printed. Database should be have a relationship and should not duplicate infomation in tables.
I have some additional databases which will need to be transferred if this one goes well we can discuss future Database conversions.
Here is info from the client and the screen shots they have supplied. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Pls let me know if you want the entire access db.
Pack List Num - Increments by one with every new packing list
Cust Order Number - Text field for PO number
Ship Via - Drop down menu of all previously used shipping methods. Can type to add a new one which will be saved for the future
Date Shipped - Text field that fills in today's date if you click the button for it, can be edited as needed.
TET Num - Text field for our Job #
Buyer - Drop down menu of all buyers. Each name is linked to their company address and the name and address prints on the PL under "Sold To". Can type to add a new buyer which would be saved
Ship to - Drop down menu of all company names and addresses. Prints on PL under "Ship to" with whatever is in the Ship Attn box as the first line.
All other boxes are simple text fields.
Line item number - Always 1 for this program, next box is always grayed out. Would be so useful to be able to make a line 2 instead of having to make a whole new PL
Qty & Description - Text fields
Ext Descr - Text field that would ideally be linked by line number assuming we could do more than one.
Sorry forgot to attach a copy of the packinglist and a screen shot of what there current forms look like.
